Noor has more than 40 years of experience in a broad range of services within the wealth management and financial services industries, spanning across various industry segments. Her previous positions held, all based in Singapore with regional/global responsibilities, include being Director and Head, Business Development (South East Asia), The Citigroup Private Bank, Director, Business Development (South East Asia), GE Capital and Deputy Managing Director, Rabobank Asia Ltd.
Her main area of expertise was developed through engaging corporate leaders to initiate, negotiate and facilitate the implementation of wealth advisory and financial transactions, including private equity and mergers and acquisitions across industries. Her extended years in managing account relationships and leading teams to serve international high net worth individuals, families and corporations in Asia, Europe, the US and the Middle East has resulted in her being able to share best practices to optimize outcomes realistically.
As a result of this experience, she has built an extensive global network comprising organisations and individuals in multi-geographies, which she now applies towards one of the key services provided by NQ International – its talent identification, executive placement and specialized executive coaching services for C-suite and near C-suite level individuals. This service encompasses coaching sessions relating to real-time situations, tailor-made to suit the particular circumstance of the individual or group. The service reaches out to individuals involved with the challenge to successfully drive organizational change, as well as those facing career progression challenges. The participation and involvement of women leaders, as part of gender diversity, is also a key service provided by NQ International.
NQ International formulates custom-designed leadership development strategies to help corporate leaders and family offices develop the capabilities needed to achieve their strategic objectives. Embedded in these programmes is also the critical issue of the enhancement of cultural assimilation, especially between Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia, given the enhanced need for mobility by corporate leaders today. The specially designed programs also incorporate the transfer of leadership skills across industries, by individuals, using tried and tested tools of influential and effective leadership techniques, as well as critical thinking.
Through these services, corporate leaders who face career challenges or those seeking advancement in their current role, are guided to formulate decisions with a purpose and to chart a realistic leadership development strategy by maximizing their individual resources.
Noor founded NQ International Pte. Ltd (“NQI”) in October 2007. A CEO, Founder, Mentor, and a Senior Accredited Board Director of the Singapore Institute of Directors, Noor is a frequent speaker at major international conferences on global wealth management, family office advisory matters, human capital, leadership and senior talent placement and retention.
A co-founding member and past President of Breast Cancer Foundation (“BCF”) for 22 years, she retired as its President for 8 years in 2019. She is currently a Board Member and trustee of The Ireland Funds Singapore Board (“TISF”), a Board Member of ISCA Cares (the charity arm of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants), and a Lay Member of the Inquiry Committee of the Law Society, Singapore.
On past positions held, Noor served as a member of the Disciplinary and Inquiry Committee of the Singapore Dental Council for 10 years. She was also joint deputy co-chairperson of BoardAgender in Singapore, an organization formed to encourage women to take on board positions, for diversity and is currently a Mentor with BoardAgender.
Noor has been actively involved with non-profit organisations for more than 30 years also to raise funds for charities and to mentor non-profit management and leaders. She has 3 grown children and seven grandchildren and is an avid musician, often performing to raise funds for various regional charities.
